From Manchester to Craven Cottage: Delivering Kinetica Sports’ Fulham FC Activation

On 20 September 2026, WD82 Ltd will support Kinetica Sports with a major matchday activation at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage. The centrepiece will be a custom-branded inflatable used during half-time, but our role extends far beyond delivering and inflating it.

We will transport and handle the wider activation package, including Kinetica-branded fridges, hoodies and promotional merchandise. From the initial collection in Manchester to the final return journey, WD82 will provide one responsible team for the transport, storage, stadium logistics, setup, operation and pack-down.

About Kinetica Sports

Founded in Cork in 2009, Kinetica Sports has developed from an Irish whey-protein brand into an established sports-nutrition business offering protein, creatine, collagen, energy, hydration and recovery products.

Quality and athlete safety remain central to the company’s identity. Kinetica states that every batch is tested against World Anti-Doping Agency standards, while key products carry Informed Sport certification. Its whey is also produced using milk from grass-fed, hormone-free cows. Kinetica describes its approach here.

In August 2025, Kinetica became Fulham FC’s Official Sports Nutrition Partner. The partnership supports the club’s First Team, Academy and Women’s Team while also creating supporter-facing digital content and matchday experiences. Fulham and Kinetica announced the partnership here.

This activation brings that partnership out of the training environment and directly in front of supporters at Craven Cottage.

Day One: Collecting the Activation Equipment

The first stage involves travelling from Rugby to Manchester to collect the custom inflatable and associated activation equipment.

This is not a simple parcel collection. The load includes large branded assets that must be handled carefully, loaded securely and protected throughout the journey. The branded fridges, inflatable, hoodies and merchandise must travel together so that everything required for the activation arrives in London at the same time.

Once collected, the equipment will be transported approximately 100 miles back to Rugby. It will then be unloaded and stored securely overnight, ready for an early departure to Fulham.

From the moment we accept the equipment, WD82 assumes responsibility for its safe handling, storage and onward transportation.

Day Two: Matchday at Fulham FC

Two WD82 crew members will travel from Rugby to Craven Cottage, arriving for the agreed stadium access time.

Working inside a Premier League football stadium requires far more coordination than arriving at a conventional event venue. Vehicle details, access permissions, security procedures, unloading windows and internal movement routes must all be agreed in advance.

Parking around Craven Cottage is particularly restricted. Therefore, the vehicle may need to be unloaded and moved to remote parking while one crew member remains with the equipment. Using two crew ensures that the activation can continue safely without leaving the inflatable, fridges or merchandise unattended.

Inside the stadium, we will liaise with venue and activation personnel, move the equipment into position and prepare the inflatable for use. The branded fridges and promotional materials will also be positioned as required by the Kinetica team.

The inflatable will undergo its setup and operational checks before being held ready for its tightly timed half-time appearance. There is no opportunity to delay a live football match, so everything must be prepared, checked and waiting before the activation window opens.

Once half-time begins, our crew will deploy and operate the inflatable as planned. Although its appearance may last only a few minutes, those few minutes are supported by hours of preparation and an entire working day reserved for the event.

Pack-Down and Return Logistics

After the activation, the inflatable must be deflated, packed correctly and moved out of the stadium alongside the fridges and remaining merchandise.

One crew member can begin the pack-down while the second retrieves the vehicle from its parking location. This is particularly important after a football match, when thousands of supporters leave the stadium and surrounding roads become heavily congested.

The complete activation package will then be transported safely back to Rugby.

Day Three: Returning the Equipment

The final stage is a dedicated return journey from Rugby to Manchester. The equipment will be unloaded and handed back at the nominated location, completing the chain of responsibility that began with the original collection.

Where clients prefer to use a courier, WD82 can also receive the activation equipment at our Rugby base, store it securely, complete the entire stadium operation and hold it ready for collection afterwards.

This project demonstrates what sits behind a short, high-profile brand moment: several hundred miles of transport, careful equipment handling, secure storage, stadium coordination, experienced crew and precise live-event operation.

That is exactly the type of practical, end-to-end support WD82 provides for branded inflatables, experiential marketing campaigns and nationwide sporting activations.
