We recently supplied our DJ services to David Lloyd Rugby for the Argentina v England match during the 2026 World Cup, helping to create a lively atmosphere around the club’s outdoor big-screen viewing area.

Rather than treating the event like a traditional DJ night, our role was to add to what was already happening. The football was naturally the main attraction, so we set up outdoors alongside the big screen and provided carefully selected background music before the game and around the key moments of the event.

The idea was simple: give the area some energy, help build anticipation and make the occasion feel more like an event rather than simply watching a match on a screen.

Adding More Than Just Music

One of the touches we added was a lighting installation using 12 Chauvet Freedom Sticks.

We programmed the fixtures specifically for the event, using them to create a visual representation of the colours of the two competing nations. The lighting complemented the big screen and helped define the viewing area, particularly as the natural light started to change.

It is a relatively small detail, but these are often the touches that make a setup feel considered rather than generic.

Our work is not limited to weddings and traditional evening parties. Events such as this require a slightly different approach, where the DJ, music, sound and lighting need to support the occasion without overpowering it.

For the Argentina v England game, that meant background music to help vibe up the crowd, an outdoor setup designed around the big screen and lighting programmed specifically for the match.

It was a good example of how we can adapt our DJ and event production services to suit the venue, audience and occasion.
