We believe in old-fashioned standards of service: turn up when you say you will, know what you are doing, communicate properly, take pride in your work and keep your word.

But we do not believe businesses should operate like it is still 1995.

WD82 embraces technology, automation and artificial intelligence where they genuinely make things better. We use modern systems to reduce repetitive administration, improve communication, organise information, produce documentation, streamline quoting and help our team work more efficiently.

AI is a tool, not a substitute for experience.

Technology can make the process faster and smarter, but a real person still takes responsibility for the job and the result.

We Don’t Hide Our Prices

One of the things that frustrates us about modern business is having to complete a form, provide your phone number and wait for a sales call simply to discover what something costs.

We don’t think it needs to be like that.

Wherever possible, WD82 openly publishes pricing against our products and services so you can decide for yourself whether we are the right fit.

No compulsory lead-capture form. No deliberately hidden prices. No collecting your details just because you wanted to know the cost.

Some projects inevitably require a bespoke quotation because location, logistics, duration or specification can change the price. Even then, we aim to make our standard rates and starting prices clear.

We would rather earn your enquiry by being useful than capture your details by hiding the price.

Why We’re Not Cheapest!

WD82 will probably not be the cheapest option – That is deliberate.

Cheap usually has to come from somewhere: less preparation, poorer equipment, rushed work, inadequate insurance, reduced maintenance, inexperienced people or somebody further down the chain being paid badly.

That isn’t how we want to operate.

Our pricing is designed to allow us to use good equipment, maintain it properly, operate safely, invest in training and systems, employ capable people and continue improving the business.

We want to provide good value, not simply the lowest number on a quotation.

Good People Should Earn Good Money

We believe that people who are skilled, dependable, professional and willing to work hard should be rewarded for it.

We do not want to build WD82 around paying everybody as little as possible and expecting maximum effort in return.

Whether somebody works for us as an employee, contractor or specialist partner, our ambition is to pay good people properly and create an environment where doing a great job leads to more opportunity.

That matters to us, but it also matters to our customers.

People who feel valued are more likely to care about the work, the customer and the final result.

We Believe Profit Is a Good Thing

WD82 is intended to make money.

We are comfortable saying that.

Profit allows a business to invest, employ people, replace equipment, train staff, develop new ideas, survive difficult periods and create new opportunities.

We believe hard work, good decisions and creating genuine value should be rewarded rather than penalised.

But we also believe success should have a wider benefit.

As WD82 grows, a percentage of our profits will be donated to charitable causes, with a particular interest in animal welfare, rescue organisations and causes that make a practical difference.

We want commercial success to create a positive ripple beyond the company itself.

That means every successful project contributes, however indirectly, towards helping us employ people properly, invest for the future and support causes that matter.

A DJ booking may look very different from an AV installation. An exhibition project may look nothing like an inflatable activation. A logistics job may have very little in common with event production.
